Mother Nature offers everything your body needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle

Water is healing.  It nourishes our bodies and feeds our souls.  Why do you think we love the ocean, the sea, a lake front cottage and the resorts with an ocean view?  We sing in the shower, while toddlers play in the bath with the shampoo bottle.  Today our oceans are a sea of plastic and our tap water is full of fluoride and chlorine so what water should we drink?

There are two options for the best drinking water.

1- Solid Carbon Block filters, filter out the chemicals and most bacteria and leave the trace minerals our bodies need.

2- Reverse Osmosis – filters out chemicals including fluoride and bacteria as well as nitrates but also filters out the trace minerals.

Either filtering option is good, while carbon block filters are less expensive, it really comes down to fluoride vs trace minerals which has to be a personal choice.

The best vegetables are all the ones you eat!

Stick to a rainbow of colours to get the maximum numbers of vitamins and minerals.  Eat leafy greens, that are full of folic acid, everyday.  Try lettuces like romaine, arugula, red and green leaf or greens like collards, swiss chard and kale. Variety is the key but keep it to one or two types of leafy greens a day.

Don’t forget colours like orange for beta-carotene and eye health or mushrooms for inflammation.
